What I’m Reading

Unreasonable Hospitality - The former co-owner of legendary restaurant Eleven Madison Park shares his amazing journey in hospitality, but more importantly, essential lessons in providing an unforgettable customer experience. There are key lessons in here that apply to every business and highlight case study after case study on how you can separate yourself in any industry by providing one of one service that can’t be matched by your competition.

Wisdom of the Week

A wise old man recently told me, to be happy you need three things…

  1. Someone to love.
  2. Something to do
  3. Something to look forward to

Question of the Week

Question: What are the best investments you’ve made so far this year? (Justin - New York, New York)

Answer: This year I’ve been liquidating a few real estate assets to free up some cash and establishing some lines of credit to have as much dry powder as possible. With that said, I’ve been investing a ton of time and money into masterminds (relationships/network), my employees (training/leadership/retention), and lastly, my life insurance policy (infinite banking concept). Yes I’ve bought real estate and dollar cost averaged my way through the volatility in the stock market, but I’m doubling down on my life insurance as I strongly believe in the power behind Infinite Banking long term and what becoming your own bank can unlock for you. IBC is not only a wealth preservation tool, the wealthiest people on the planet use it as a wealth generation tool. If you haven’t connected with Ryan and his amazing team on how this ties into your long-term wealth building plan, text XRAY to 844.447.1555 and setup a free call with them to learn more about it.

Pic of the Week

Real estate moves much slower than the stock market and with the FED still raising interest rates, inventory rising, and the recession realities settling in, 2023 is going to be an interesting season for the real estate market. Those who are prepared for this correction will see great opportunities. Are you ready?

Something I’m Excited About:

This week I am flying my mom, dad, daughters, and wifey out to Disneyworld to celebrate my mom and Ella’s bdays. We’ve been grinding HARD the last few years in the hotels and haven’t taken any big family trips post COVID with the whole squad so we’re going to make this a trip for the ages. These are the reasons I’ve pursued financial freedom my whole life. Not because I want think money will make me happier, but for the experiences and memories it will unlock. This is my definition of a RICH life and why I am so passionate about helping other design, build, and live theirs.

PS - Which Disney park do you think I’m most excited to visit and why? Open to any and all suggestions :)

Onward and upward,

Matty A
