Hi, I’m Matty A, host of Millionaire Mindcast, and in this weeks Millionaire Notes , you are going to discover the things that’ve been fueling my whole life millionaire lifestyle. Ready? Let’s dive in!

Read of the Week:

The Big Leap: Conquer Your Hidden Fear and Take Life to the Next Level is a self-help book written by Gay Hendricks. It is hands down one of my top 5 favorite reads of all time and has helped me break through so many mental and physical ceilings in my life. The book focuses on identifying and overcoming the limiting beliefs that hold people back from achieving success and happiness in their personal and professional lives. The book argues that people have an "upper limit problem", where they unconsciously self-sabotage their success and happiness due to fears and beliefs formed in their childhood. For entrepreneurs, this book can be especially valuable as it provides insights into how to overcome common obstacles that can prevent success and growth in their businesses. Additionally, the book offers practical advice for creating a successful and fulfilling life, which can be particularly useful for those who are striving to balance their personal and professional lives.

Wisdom of the Week

Character > Results - No matter how successful someone is, judge them based on their character instead of their accolades or achievements. A lot of people idolize individuals for their accomplishments, when those people are morally bankrupt and have gone about their business in an unethical way or a way that’s not aligned with their core values. Just a reminder, never sacrifice your morals in exchange for an accomplishment. Your integrity is the foundation of which success, impact, and true influence will be built on, so keep your character intact on your journey to unlocking financial freedom and real wealth.

Question of the Week

Question: I want to invest in real estate but I’m scared and doubting myself. What is a great piece of advice that really helped you in getting your first real estate investment done?  - Eric Cervantez (TX)

Answer: One of the biggest limiting beliefs that most people have that stops them from getting started on their real estate investing journey, is a lack of money or the idea that you need a lot of it to begin. One of my first mentors told me, if you find a great deal, money will always find its way to that opportunity. Once you have a great opportunity, then it all comes down to how you structure the deal and put everything together. Don’t get greedy in the beginning. You don’t need to own 100% of the deal. What matters most is getting your first deal across the finish line and giving yourself an opportunity to gain experience, while sharing in the profits and spreading out the risk. Remember, it’s still better to own a slice of a watermelon than 100% of a grape or nothing altogether. Don’t be afraid to partner with people when you’re first getting started until you can do it all by yourself.

Pic of the Week

This past weekend I was at The American Craft Spirits conference in Portland, OR. It was a jam packed weekend full of new relationships, lots of learning, and eating and drinking my way through the city. “Matt, what reason would you be attending a Spirits conference for”? Let’s just say I’m working on some really exciting things in the hospitality world that have always been a dream of mine, and I’m taking massive action towards making it a reality. I look forward to sharing more with you all soon and I will break the news here first with all my textletter peeps.

Something I Enjoyed This Past Week:

One of my favorite instagram accounts I follow is Upworthy. This video gave me all the feels as a teacher taught her young students through this exercise the importance of being authentic, accepting of others, and to treating each other with respect. I went home and asked my daughters to tell me something they loved about themselves, and each member of our family. It led to some amazing conversations and appreciation for one another, and I encourage you to do this with yourself and your loved ones as well.

By the way, I just launched the Tour Tahoe day of 1 to 1 masterminding with yours truly. Winter spots will consist of a day of epic snowboarding, lakefront world class dining, business and investment planning on YOUR wealth, and a few surprises along the way. Not only will you have a clear plan on how to take your life and business goals to the next level, you’ll gain a new friend in the process ;) Apply Here to lock in your spot!

Onward and upward,

Matty A
